The Project Details
Environmental Research Group (erg), a provider of environmental solutions to mostly U.S. governmental organizations, asked us to redesign and develop a new website that incorporates an unorthodox design to better reflect their personality. They wanted it to be fun and functional—to grab attention and to showcase their unique style.
One of the parameters of the project was that it needed to be built in Wix because they felt it was easier for them to manage the content.
We tested many options for the home page. After many iterations, they suggested starling murmurations for the hero video. The video was created completely by hand using thousands of bird animations in After Effects. This created a very interesting effect that really resonated with the team.
