Ballet Virginia website
The Project Details
Ballet Virginia, a regional dance academy and performance company based in Norfolk, asked for help with a website revamp back in 2012. Their old site made editing and keeping the content fresh very difficult. It also wasn’t optimized for mobile and tablets.
In 2018, they again asked to have the site brought up to more modern standards with the addition of more robust class information, integration of more video, especially on the home page, as well as other enhancements.
For the new site redesign, we focused even more on the mobile experience since more than 60% of the traffic is from mobile devices. The design focuses on not necessarily needing the navigation menu to find the information visitors need. All the main content areas are accessible from the home page and, based on the analytics, it's ordered using visitors' most requested information.
